Our attorneys, through their participation in countless arbitrations as parties and arbitrators, have helped resolve disputes in various industries, including construction, finance, and energy, among others.
Within this area, Óscar Contreras is a member of the Arbitration and ADR Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce.
On the other hand, Álvaro Awad organized the Chilean chapter of the international network VYAP (Very Young Arbitration Practitioners), which joined those existing in Paris, Mexico City and Bogotá, and which today has been extended to Brazil, Uruguay, Peru and Spain. Likewise, Álvaro is the Official Reporter for Chile in the International Commercial and Investment Arbitration Bulletin. During 2018, Álvaro was appointed as Ambassador for Chile of Arbitrator Intelligence, an international organization in charge of collecting information on arbitral awards to increase transparency, responsibility and diversity in arbitration.
